Horrifying moment two huge pit bulls named Boo-boo and Jumpety knock disabled man out of his wheelchair and savagely ‘rip chunks out of him’

This is the horrific moment two huge pit bull-like dogs mauled a disabled man after knocking him out of his wheelchair.

Dozens of shocked neighbors were powerless to stop the two beasts from ripping ‘chunks’ out of the victim in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

The dogs, named Jumpety and Boo-boo, had escaped from the garden of a ground-floor apartment where they had been cared for by neighbors since their owner was in prison.

The victim, known as ‘Smokie’, was dragged along the sidewalk as onlookers honked and someone drove his semi-trailer towards the bloodthirsty dogs.

“Everyone gathered, you know 20 to 30 people, threw things and it worked for a while,” one neighbor said. local10.

‘But after that they just kept going. Chopped man and you know his face was red.”

Two other dogs that neighbors said had recently entered the yard are seen on the video barking wildly from behind the fence as the attack unfolds.

A wheel from the victim’s overturned wheelchair spins uselessly in the air as the two pit bulls continue their frenzied attack.

Their victim was eventually airlifted to Jackson South Medical Center, where he underwent surgery for serious injuries to his arms, as it was found that at least one of the dogs had previously attacked.

Both animals were well known to neighbors and one said Boo-boo was thought to be “peaceful.”

“He came out the other day and my mom was able to take him and feed him, and he went right back inside his kennel,” she added.

‘He probably attacked because he was hungry and scared.

“Jumpety, he jumps the fence, he can literally jump the fence. I was surprised and surprised by that, I think he is very dangerous because he has attacked someone before.

“If these dogs are determined to pose a public safety concern, the department will humanely euthanize the dogs in accordance with Chapter 5 of the Miami-Dade County Code,” a spokesperson said.

According to the American Veterinary Association, approximately 800,000 people in the U.S. are treated in the hospital for dog bites each year, and Pit Bulls are responsible for more attacks than any other dog.

They are also more likely to kill their victims; they account for 28 percent of deaths over a 20-year period studied by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
