Shocked amusement park visitors were pelted with a mysterious substance in Happy Valley Chengdu.
As the thrill seekers looked up at the terrifying ride they were about to embark on, a brownish matter fell from the cloudy sky, causing those at the front of the line to crash.
Surprised guests at the theme park in Sichuan province looked around in disgust before turning their heads upward at the still-snaking ride.
Footage of the unpleasant incident, which took place on July 25, has since been posted online.

Thrill seekers queuing for the ride were engulfed in the material as the fast-winding ride continued
User Dennis Teo shared it with his 43,6,000 TikTok followers and captioned the video: “S*** from the sky.”
The post has since been viewed 34.6 million times and prompted hundreds of thousands of comments from shocked users, all eager to find out what the mysterious substance actually was.
Although it has not been confirmed what the substance was, comments suggested it was flying feces
Meanwhile, other users are already vomiting the drug caused by the fast-swinging roller coaster.
One wrote: ‘Isn’t it more likely it was puke?’, while another agreed: ‘Isn’t it more likely it was puke.’
Others were more disturbed by the sight, pointing out the slight, muffled sound heard when the substance hits the ground.
A third person wrote: ‘New fear unlocked.’
While a fourth commented: ‘Imagine someone yawning downstairs.’
Another asked: ‘Why are they all so calm?’ towards the apparently blasé amusement park visitors in the queue.

According to the website, the theme park in Jinniu District, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China has six roller coasters.
The ride has been identified as the Gyro Swing and appears to be one of the park’s more intense rides.
According to China Educational Tours, the ride is 17 meters high and can accommodate up to 30 visitors at a time.
It’s described as a “high-altitude thrill ride,” which will accelerate the heart rate with “crazy speed and an exaggerated swing range.”
The website reads: ‘(The ride) is popular worldwide and is a must for thrill-seekers.’
