The car came from behind them and is seen brutally crashing into the vehicle being stopped by Gregory on the side of the highway.
Gregory was violently launched onto the grass, with the vehicle he had parked immediately shattering into pieces from the impact. Both vehicles were severely damaged by the collision.
The Highway Department said those involved had been “treated and released” after the wild crash. It is unclear whether anyone was cited for the initial stop or the subsequent crash.
Gregory said he doesn’t even remember the incident.
The soldier told News9 “Watching the video, I don’t even remember the barrel rolling up.”

“When I was thrown from the vehicle, I think it really just took the brunt of the impact and the most damage,” he said of the injury.
Gregory was involved in a separate incident at another traffic stop last month.
The incident, which was also captured on dashcam, showed a car crashing into a vehicle pulled over for a traffic stop.
In that incident, the officer – a neighbor of Gregory’s – was launched into the air. Gregory, who was nearby, screamed “Hey, you okay, brother?”
“He was hit in exactly the same situation,” Gregory explained.
The officer said it’s alarming and insane “for something like this to happen to two law enforcement officers in the same month.”
