Horrifying moment NYC subway passenger DRAGS unconscious body onto the platform ‘to get the train moving again’

Wild footage captured the moment a determined subway driver dragged the unconscious body of a passenger from a train surrounded by commuters.

The footage, shot in Manhattan’s Turtle Bay neighborhood, showed a fed-up subway rider taking matters into his own hands after the unconscious man stopped the train from continuing its journey.

Moments before, the passenger who filmed the encounter also shared an image of the allegedly comatose man lying across a bench in the subway.

It’s just the latest in a string of unsavory subway incidents in recent times that have enraged Big Apple residents, including a 45-year-old man who was killed after being randomly pushed onto the tracks last week.

In the recent footage, dozens of commuters stood on the 59th Street platform as the train they were about to board was stopped by the unconscious passenger.

While most bystanders seemed unconcerned after the subway was recently plagued by threatening or drugged passengers, it appears one man checks the unconscious man’s pulse.

ā€œHe’s not dead, he’s still alive,ā€ the man says.

The MTA reportedly confirmed to The Post that the incident occurred on March 7 and they described the unconscious man as being in a “drugged state.”

He then walked out of the station and the train continued on its way, the MTA said.
