This is the horrifying moment when a homeless robber followed a 73-year-old grandmother and her young granddaughter into their home and violently flung them onto the street in an attack that has shocked France.
The elderly woman and the seven-year-old were dragged from their home in Bordeaux and dropped onto the doorstep by the assailant who had wedged his foot in the door before sneaking in and grabbing his victims.
He then violently yanked the sobbing child to her feet, before throwing her aside as he grabbed her grandmother’s belongings.
The child can then be seen running back to her terrified grandmother, as the family’s dog appears at the door.
The incident took place at around 5:30 p.m. yesterday at Place de l’Europe, in the heart of Bordeaux.
After she and the elderly woman entered the house, the man snuck in and jammed his leg in the door to prevent it from closing, then violently flung them into the street.
The suspect was finally arrested several hours later by the anti-crime squad crews.
According to a source familiar with the case at CNEWS, the man arrested is a homeless Frenchman born in 1993, with about 20 offenses to his name.
On June 8, an assailant, Abdelmasih Hanoun, 31, clung to a chain with a crucifix on it before launching his “horrific” rampage at around 9:45 a.m. in a lakeside park in the city of Annecy, a tourist hot spot in southeastern France. .
A total of six people – four young children and two adults – were rushed to hospital after being injured in the rampage.

Dubbed “the backpack hero” (le héros au sac a dos) by the media, the management and philosophy student suggested it was God’s will that he be there to intervene.
