The suspect was finally arrested several hours later by the anti-crime squad crews.

According to a source familiar with the case at CNEWS, the man arrested is a homeless Frenchman born in 1993, with about 20 offenses to his name.

On June 8, an assailant, Abdelmasih Hanoun, 31, clung to a chain with a crucifix on it before launching his “horrific” rampage at around 9:45 a.m. in a lakeside park in the city of Annecy, a tourist hot spot in southeastern France. .
