A woman was run over by a motorist after throwing an object at the driver in a terrifying road rage incident.
A bystander captured the moment a 26-year-old woman suffered a horrific leg injury after an altercation with a male driver, 42, outside a 7/11 near Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast at 5.30pm on Friday.
The video shows the woman getting out of her blue Subaru and throwing an object at the man's windshield.
The driver of the ute initially tries to swerve around the Subaru, but instead runs her over.
As the woman falls to the ground next to her car, the woman's tires bounce across the lower half of her body.

Police and paramedics attended the scene and took the female driver to Sunshine Coast University Hospital
The woman immediately hugs her legs to her chest as her male passenger runs over to help.
He is seen filming the driver of the ute getting out of his car and walking towards the woman sitting on the ground.
When he comes within a few feet of the injured woman, the man returns to his car and drives away.
Another witness is seen approaching the woman on the ground to provide assistance.
Police and paramedics attended the scene and took the woman to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition with leg injuries.
