Horrifying moment when doctors find a SPIDER living in a woman’s ear… and a whole colony of babies inside!

  • The horror discovery was made in China’s Huidong County People’s Hospital
  • The woman had initially come to the hospital with a suspicion of tinnitus
  • But it was soon realized that the noise and pain were caused by the spider

This is the horrifying moment when doctors discovered a spider raising an entire colony of babies in a woman’s ear.

The chilling images were captured on April 20 by medical staff at the Huidong County People’s Hospital in China’s Sichuan province.

The video from an endoscope shows how the doctor carefully examines the patient’s right ear with special tweezers.

As the Doctor investigates further what is troubling the woman, they come across what appears to be an eardrum, but turns out to be a silky web carefully woven by the spider that has made a home for itself.

After a few attempts to peel back the web, the terrifying spider raising a family runs out from behind and launches itself at the probe.

Doctors were stunned when they saw the wide-eyed black spider, but thankfully it was not venomous.

The woman had initially arrived at the hospital with a suspected case of tinnitus, but it soon turned out that it was much worse.

Medics soon realized that the strange noises and pain were actually coming from the spider burrowing into the woman’s ear.

Han Xinglong, the doctor of the Otolaryngology Department, told local media, “The web made by this spider is very similar to the eardrum.

“When the ear endoscope first came in, nothing abnormal was found.

“But if you look closely, something seems to be moving underneath.

“I pushed aside the cobweb, it was about to flee, but was finally pulled out smoothly.”

Despite the terrifying ordeal, the woman suffered only minor damage to her ear canal.

The hospital warned individuals to remove foreign objects themselves and urged them to seek professional help if available due to the risk of further injury.

This isn’t the first time surgeons have discovered a live spider in a patient’s ear.

In 2019, medics were surprised to discover an eight-legged creature in a man’s ear during an investigation after he complained of itching.

Surgeons saw nothing abnormal in their bear eyes, but with the help of a microscope they saw a gray spider in the patient’s ear canal.

Meanwhile, the same year, a Missouri woman was horrified to discover that the “buzzing” sound in her ear was the eight legs of a venomous brown recluse spider.
