Horrifying moment bikie stabs driver five times in brutal road rage attack

A motorcyclist who stabbed a driver five times during a brutal road rage attack could be released from prison within months.

Aleksander Mahone, then 31, a member of the rebel gang, repeatedly stabbed Issa Katoub, 26, with a homemade knife after crashing his pickup truck into his own car in July 2023, 7News reported.

Kattoub suffered injuries to his arms and chest before Mahone threw away his knife when bystanders tried to intervene.

Kattoub had crashed his car into an electricity pole earlier that day, forcing him to abandon his car in a no stopping area on Bartley Street in Cabramatta, south-west Sydney.

When Mahone later returned to have the car towed, he hit it with his pickup truck.

Mahone blamed Kattoub and walked to the car to get his knife.

District Court Judge Huw Baker said the attacker’s knife was a pair of scissors “designed to be used as a weapon”.

Mahone was sentenced to three years in prison, but could be released as early as February next year if he serves the sentence on time.
