In April, U.S. auto safety regulators revealed that Tesla’s Autopilot feature had been involved in at least 13 fatal crashes, following an investigation into the feature in August 2021.
It is unclear whether the Tesla driver was using the Autopilot feature when he was struck head-on by the Jeep.
The reason why the Jeep collided with the Tesla is still being investigated.
