Horrific scenes as woman is crushed to death in Forbes, NSW as a car rolls over the top of her

A woman has died after a car rolled over her in central west NSW.

Police arrived at the horrific scene in Lawler St, Forbes, at around 9am on Wednesday and found a woman trapped under a vehicle.

She was treated at the scene by paramedics, but they were unable to save her.

The woman, believed to be in her 70s, has not yet been formally identified.

The police investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death continues.
