A small plane crashed into an Oregon neighborhood, setting homes on fire and knocking out power to thousands.
The plane fell from the sky Saturday morning in a residential area in Fairview, the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Video footage on social media shows plumes of smoke rising over the area and flames shooting from houses.
The FAA told DailyMail.com that a twin-engine Cessna 421C crashed around 10:30 a.m. PT near Troutdale Airport in Oregon.
It is not known how many people were on board or whether there were any injuries.
“The Port of Portland Fire Department dispatched a crash vehicle and a battalion chief to the scene, and the Gresham Fire Department is the responsible agency,” the Port of Portland said in a statement issued by CAT.

Marweg’s son, Andre Coleman, told the Atlanta news station that his father’s body was unrecognizable, and the family had to rely on Marweg’s tattoos and a Mississippi State lanyard to identify him.
Marweg, who lived in Stone Mountain, Georgia, worked for Delta for more than 20 years and planned to retire in a few months, he said. 11Alive.
Aldarondo had a son and a daughter with his wife Sonia and has a good relationship with his mother Juliet Perez.
Delta previously said that the wheel components that were being disassembled when the explosion occurred were not attached to an aircraft at the time.
The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration said it had opened an investigation. The cause of the explosion was not disclosed.
