Hope Hicks and Ivanka Trump’s chief of staff were furious over supermodel Karlie Kloss’ January 6 tweet criticizing the refusal to accept the election results, new text messages reveal.
White House counsel Hicks and Ivanka’s top aide Julie Radford responded to her social media post by saying they were being made to look like “domestic terrorists”, and how the riots meant they would be “unemployed”.
Their conversation was part of the slew of documents released by the January 6 committee about how those inside the White House and Trump allies reacted to the crowd that stormed the Capitol.
Kloss, who is married to Jared Kushner’s brother Josh, tweeted: ‘Accepting the results of a legitimate democratic election is patriotic. Refusing to do so and inciting violence is un-American.”

A Twitter user then urged her to “tell her sister-in-law (Ivanka) and her brother-in-law.”
“I’ve tried,” Kloss responded, sparking anger between Hopes and Radford, according to correspondence first reported by the daily beast.
‘Unreal. She just called me about it,” Radford wrote to Hicks.
‘I am so tired. Do you realize how really screwed everyone is right now? Hicks responded.
“In one day, he ended all future opportunities that do not include speaking engagements at the local chapter of proud children,” Hicks wrote in an apparent reference to Trump.
“And all of us who didn’t have jobs lined up will be perpetually unemployed,” Hicks added. ‘I’m so angry and upset. We all look like domestic terrorists now.
Radford said that she had been crying for an hour.
“I’m so fucking mad,” Hicks said as she feared she would be “unhireable” and “untouchable” after the mob stormed the Capitol.
For Radford, he claimed that the backlash had already started when Visa sent him a “rejection” email.
Ivanka’s former chief of staff, Julie Radford, said she had been “in tears for an hour” on January 6 and feared with Hicks that they might not get work in the future.
Kloss has rarely spoken about his connection to the Trump family and they have rarely been seen together. In September 2022, her families came together to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah in Long Branch, New Jersey.
Hicks responded, “I’m not being dramatic, but we’re all screwed.”
He added that White House official Alyssah Farrah’s resignation in December, as Trump pushed allegations of voter fraud, made her seem like a “genius.”
Kloss has rarely spoken about his connection to the Trump family and they have rarely been seen together.

In a December 2021 interview with the Wall Street Journal Magazineshe said she had to grow “really thick skin” when Jared and Ivanka became her in-laws.

‘Whether you love me or hate me, because I’ve experienced it all. I have learned to stay away from the comment section.
Karlie had openly campaigned for Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential election, while Jared and Ivanka became senior advisers to then-President Donald Trump.
‘It’s been hard,’ he said british fashion in July 2019. “But I choose to focus on the values I share with my husband, and those are the same liberal values I was raised with and have guided me throughout my life.”

Karlie and her husband Joshua Kushner are both liberal, despite their connection to the Trump family.
