Homes near Clarkson’s Farm have seen price reductions

Searches for homes for sale in Chadlington are up 373 percent compared to a year ago following the latest Clarkson’s Farm streak.

The increased interest in the village – where the series is set – follows a similar rise in 2021 following the launch of the first series, when searches for the Oxfordshire spot increased by 511 per cent.

Data from Rightmove shows that the average asking price for a property in the Chadlington postcode area is currently £518,702.

Between June 2021, when the first season of Clarkson’s Farm kicked off, and March 2023, the average asking price for a home in the Chadlington postcode area has increased by 7 percent.

However, of the five properties listed for sale online on Rightmove, three have been reduced in price – despite the temptation of possibly being the neighbor of the popular TV presenter.

It suggests that people looking for homes in the area may simply shop windows to see what’s for sale rather than being committed buyers.
