Homes Under The Hammer’s Tommy Walsh makes disgusting discovery in townhouse causing his ‘stomach to turn over’ as he is hit by ‘ripe’ stench
Tommy Walsh felt sick during an episode of Homes Under The Hammer after making a disgusting discovery at a property in Windsor.
The presenter, 67, appeared on an edition of the BBC property show last year alongside Martin Roberts and Dion Dublin.
Tommy went to inspect a three-bedroom townhouse, which had a market value of £250,000.
However, as the builder approached the front door, he was suddenly hit by a terrible stench that made him gag.
He stopped and stated, “Something’s wrong there. That’s really ripe and it gives me stomach problems.’

However, as the builder approached the front door, he was suddenly hit by a terrible stench that made him gag.
Tommy gagged and quickly went to get some protection, insisting, “I’m going to get my mask.” I’m not going in there without one of them.”
While narrating the episode, Martin revealed to viewers that the foul odor came from animal waste that had been left unclean to rot.
Tommy explained that the property would need major changes, but if it underwent extensive renovations it could sell for £525,000.
The mansion was eventually bought at auction by mortgage lawyer Ravi, who paid £411,500.
Including the renovation work and additional costs, Ravi ended up spending £454,500 on the property and said he hoped to rent it for between £1,800 and £2,100 a month.
Tommy’s disgusting discovery comes after he was reportedly axed from Homes Under The Hammer in a huge show shake-up.
It was reported last weekend that he would be replaced by TV weatherman and Radio 2 presenter Owain Wyn Evans, 39, in a bid to ‘keep younger viewers interested’.
According to him, the former Ground Force star already filmed his last episode last year The sun.

A source told the publication: ‘Bosses wanted a makeover to keep younger viewers interested.
“They have been keen to bring Owain into one of their hit shows for some time – he will add a new dynamic.
They added: ‘The upcoming series will feature both Tommy and Owain as there is a three month delay in the house makeovers so there is some crossover.’
Owain previously presented regional weather before landing on The One Show and his own early morning show on Radio 2, and also appeared in the celebrity special of Homes Under The Hammer last month.
Tommy took part in the BBC renovation show in 2021, alongside Money for Nothing presenter Jacqui Joseph.
When the news was announced, he said: ‘I’m looking forward to joining the Homes Under The Hammer team and hope my knowledge and experience will be a useful addition.
‘I’m really enjoying the show and coincidentally the house I share with my family was bought at auction and we all love it, so hopefully I can help both the contributors and viewers with the choices they make.’

Tommy has been a regular face on TV screens since starring in makeover show Ground Force since 2007.
He was a working builder before landing the role after being encouraged to audition by a TV producer.
The show became a hit worldwide and Tommy and his co-stars were even invited to the White House to meet US President George W. Bush after making two US series, including a special in New York following 9/11.
Father-of-three Tommy, who has been married to his wife Marie for more than 30 years, has also released a number of best-selling books.
