Homeowner takes revenge on neighbour who kept cutting across shared driveway
Homeowner reveals how he got revenge on his neighbor who kept scraping his trash cans and stairs by crossing their shared driveway while backing into a parking space
- Sheffield’s Curtis Patterson used plant pots to divide his driveway
- The frustrated homeowner’s plan caused chaos when his neighbor returned
This is when a frustrated homeowner tries to stop his neighbor from crossing his driveway… but his carefully devised plan backfires.
Curtis Patterson, from Sheffield, South Yorkshire, lost her temper when his neighbor reportedly scraped his bins and curbs with her car as they used their shared driveway.
In an effort to mark off their separate territory, Mr. Patterson decided to place two rectangular planters in the center of the driveway. That reports the Sun.
The frustrated homeowner was sure that the two plant pots would clearly mark the boundary between his part of the driveway and the neighbor’s.
But Mr. Patterson’s confidence that his neighbor would understand the new division was misplaced when she returned home…

Mr. Patterson’s neighbor crashed into the planter as she backed up the shared driveway
After initially appearing to be backing carefully into her section of the driveway, aware of the new planters, the woman’s front wheel gets caught on one of the pots, CCTV footage shows.
After initially appearing to carefully drive into her section of the driveway, taking into account the new planters, the woman’s front wheel gets caught on one of the pots, CCTV footage shows.
After hitting the plant pot in the driveway, she is spent turning toward Mr. Patterson’s own car as the woman backs into the driveway.
The duo then get into a heated argument over who was to blame, before the neighbor puts the pot back in its place.
“So we literally have planters today,” Mr. Patterson said in the caption of his Tiktok video. “The first time she comes home after putting them in our driveway…”
The video sparked glee among viewers who were amused by the driver’s baffling parking style.
One observer suggested that Mr Patterson ‘fill the planters with cement’, while another suggested that he ‘build a wall right on the border’.
Another simply expressed desperation when they asked, “How can you be so bad at driving?”
