Tammin Sursok debuted brand new golden locks on Tuesday after undergoing a dramatic transformation for a new movie role.
The former Home and Away star, 39, said goodbye to her signature brunette hair as she rushed to get a last-minute makeover after her agent called about an acting job.
She posted a photo and video of her transformation on Instagram, revealing that she would be starring in the upcoming film, which will be “shooting next Thursday in Atlanta.”

‘Oh hi. It’s Tammin. I promise,” she captioned the photo of her new blonde look.
“Four days ago I was with my kids to take them to dance class. The next moment I get a call that I’m going to star in a movie shooting this Thursday in Atlanta and I HAVE TO BE BLONDE!
“So I embraced the unknown, begged and pleaded to see Marissa Martin – who came in on a Sunday and spent five hours perfecting this look – and now I accept the unknown and allow myself to feel all the nerves and excitement and get ready to kick.’

The Pretty Little Liars alum went on to say that the “best moments” in life come when you step out of your comfort zone.
It comes after she recently returned to Los Angeles after spending most of the year in Australia.
She was spotted at the airport with daughters, Phoenix, eight, and Lennon, three, who she shares with husband Sean McEwen.

Tammin recently spoke with Stellar magazine about what it was like to guest-star on the Australian soap opera Neighbors before it was discontinued.
“I had to go back to a soap and see it through a different lens – as someone much older – and make peace with that whole time,” she explained.
‘Our children will never know Neighbours, except through repetitions! Neighbors will always be a special part of who we were… but I think it all just goes on.”

Tammin also spoke about the atmosphere on set, as her guest role coincided with the news that the series was about to be cancelled.
“I like the work ethic of Australians… they came with such professionalism and they did their job and they didn’t complain and they didn’t throw a hissing attack,” Tammin said. The Kyle and Jackie O Show.
She rose to fame as a teenager when she played Dani Sutherland in Home and Away from 2000 to 2004, before landing starring roles in Flicka and Pretty Little Liars.
