Home and Away star James Stewart’s real-life romance with Ada Nicodemou is revealed – as he is pictured checking into a hotel after split from Sarah Roberts

Home and Away star James Stewart has sparked rumors he is dating his co-star Ada Nicodemou after splitting with wife Sarah Roberts of five years.

Sources close to the star reveal that Stewart and Nicodemou’s on-screen chemistry has blossomed into a real-life connection.

It comes after the 48-year-old actor was pictured leaving his Coogee apartment with a suitcase via an Uber on April 24 and checking into the Swissotel Hotel in Sydney’s CBD.

Stewart, dressed casually in a white T-shirt paired with classic jeans and a brown cap, appeared focused and possibly thinking about his next move.

Adding fuel to the romance rumors, the couple was also seen enjoying a cozy date at a local cinema, where they were not shy about publicly displaying their affection.

Nicodemou was married to Chrys Xipolitas for nine years, but it is believed he briefly split in 2010 before reconciling in August 2012 and welcoming a son named Johnas.

Stewart’s ex Roberts revealed the sad news last weekend in an interview with Stellar magazine.

“I just want to say that I’m divorced,” she told the publication.

“Sometimes people grow apart and that’s okay… I got to a point where I realized I couldn’t grow the way I wanted to within this particular relationship.”

Roberts and Stewart married in 2019 after getting engaged in November 2018. Stewart proposed to her at the restaurant where they had had their first date a year earlier.

The couple married in July 2019 at Luttrellstown Castle, on the outskirts of Dublin.

Roberts’ revelation comes after years of speculation that the couple had split.

Rumors surfaced after Stewart was absent from the premiere of her film Wog Boys Forever in Melbourne in October 2022.

He was “nowhere to be seen on the red carpet” and apparently unfollowed his wife’s Instagram account.

At the time, Roberts’ agent denied that they had broken up.

The couple later put an end to the rumors when Roberts proudly showed off her wedding ring at the AACTA Awards in December that year.

Speaking to Now To Love, she also shot down persistent rumors that she and James had split.

“We are happy,” she told the publication.

Sarah told the publication that Stewart was romantic as ever and even picked her up from the airport with a bouquet of flowers after her trip to Italy.

Roberts starred in Home and Away from 2017 to 2021, before walking away to focus on her film career.

Stewart is currently still starring in the Australian soap, where he plays Justin Morgan.

The actor shares daughter Scout, 11, with his ex-fiancée Jessica Marais, who he met on the set of Packed to the Rafters in 2009.

They had announced their engagement in October 2010 and welcomed Scout in May 2012.

In 2015, the couple called it quits, with Stewart later saying, “Our relationship didn’t work out because I think at the end of the day, hearts go in different directions.”
