Filming is currently underway for the highly anticipated Australian spin-off NCIS: Sydney, based on the hit US police procedural.

On Tuesday, Australian actors Todd Lasance, 38, and Tuuli Narkle, 27, appeared to be in good spirits as they filmed a scene for the show in a car park in North Bondi.

Known for his work on Home and Away, Todd effortlessly transformed into a police investigator as he filmed an intense crime scene.

Wearing a navy blue NCIS jacket that he paired with a crisp shirt and jeans, he exuded a focused look as he plied his craft.

Todd’s presence was captivating as he spoke to other actors while filming an intense crime scene, with sections of the street cordoned off with police tape.

Meanwhile, Mystery Road: Origin star Tuuli Narkle seemed engrossed in the moment as she performed in an intense scene alongside British actor Sean Sagar.

The pair wore matching NCIS police coats and gloves at the crime scene and appeared to be having the time of their lives as they performed for the cameras.

They were joined by DC’s Legends of Tomorrow star Olivia Swann, 30, who couldn’t wipe the smile off her face as she enjoyed the busy day with her fellow actors.

“It’s a privilege to be able to carry on the legacy of such a wonderful show and integrate the superior NCIS storytelling while introducing new Australian characters and locations.”

“We can’t wait to get production going,” Ms McGarvey said.

The announcement was made after the hit CBS show NCIS was renewed for a 19th season, with star Mark Harmon returning as Leroy Jethro Gibbs.
