Home and Away viewers expose the Channel Seven show’s ‘unrealistic’ details after an iconic character’s storyline became ‘inconsistent’: ‘What happened?’
Home and Away fans have called out the long-running Channel Seven soap opera for being “unrealistic.”
Viewers have taken to social media to expose alleged plot holes in storylines surrounding one of the show’s most popular characters, Justin, played by 47-year-old actor James Stewart.
In the show, Stewart’s character runs the local garage in Summer Bay while serving 500 days community service for assault.
But fans on the Home and Away Spoiler & Info Group have wondered about the drama.
This is because Justin (Stewart) hasn’t seen much done about his court verdict since it was handed down by the judge on the show back in April.

“What happened to Justin’s community service or anger management course?” a fan commented on the Facebook page.
Other fans agreed, with one H&A follower quipped, “Maybe he did it all at once? Long day…’
Meanwhile, fans have criticized the show for being “inconsistent” with other characters and storylines.
For example, Justin’s garage was a frequent setting for the show’s action, while Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) and Dean (Patrick O’Connor) were part of Home and Away.

But after Dillman and O’Connor, a real life couple who played boyfriend and girlfriend on the show, left Home and Away in March, Justin’s garage has not been seen.
“Justin sold the garage?” a fan musing on the Facebook fan page.
“Since Ziggy left, he hasn’t been in and hasn’t gotten anyone else to take it off him. It’s not mentioned at all,” they complained.

Another viewer wondered who was ‘fixing’ cars in Summer Bay.
“Seriously, it’s not realistic,” one viewer agreed.
“The writers aren’t consistent about anything,” another whined.
Other fans commented that none of the characters seemed to have a job but still had money to spend at the café, while another said there was “no more school or teenagers in the bay”.
