Home and Away stars Rebecca Breeds and Luke Mitchel are expecting their first child.
Rebecca, 37, took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a photo of her happily cradling her growing baby bump on the Adelaide Film Festival red carpet.
Wearing a stunning white dress with a thigh-high slit, Rebecca looked radiant as she happily posed for photographers.
In the caption of the post, Rebecca revealed the promising news along with the release of her new movie Kangaroo Island.
‘VERY excited to share that baby Mitchell and @kangarooislandmovie are sooooooooo coming! Thank you @adlfilmfest for hosting us and everyone who came to support us,” Rebecca wrote.
The post was met with an outpouring of congratulations from followers, including her former Home And Away co-star Lynne McGranger.
“Congratulations Bec and Luke, very exciting news,” the actress wrote.
Todd Lasance, who played Aidan Ross on Home and Away, also sent his best wishes: Wooooo!!!!! Congratulations guys!!! I’m so happy for both of you!’

Luke shared the same photo on his Instagram Stories and also shared the news with his legion of followers.
“I am the luckiest man, husband and expectant father in the universe,” he wrote excitedly.
The pair, who played the roles of Ruby Buckton and Romeo Smith respectively, found love on the Channel Seven soap before Luke popped the question in 2012.

A year later, in January 2013, they tied the knot.
The couple moved to the US, where Rebecca took on roles as the iconic Clarice Starling in the CBS Silence of the Lambs spin-off series Clarice, and as Nicole in Pretty Little Liars.
After moving to the United States, Luke also landed roles on the CW’s Tomorrow People and Agents of SHIELD
The couple moved back to Australia about three years ago.
In 2023, Rebecca told TV Week that the move had been “good for the soul.”

“It was really nice to get grounded and be back home,” she said.
‘Finally I have a garden, I have wanted a vegetable garden for so long. So we are literally putting down roots at home and that has been very soothing to the soul.”
She added that her time in the US was made so much easier thanks to having Luke by her side.
“It was very powerful to have someone who was your anchor and your home base, because it can be a very difficult experience, moving away from everything you’ve ever known,” she said.
‘Our sector has a lot of pressure and many highs and lows. It can be very lonely.’
