Home and Away star Sam Frost says she “found pregnancy really hard” after welcoming her first child
Sam Frost welcomed her first child, son Ted, with her fiancé Jordie Hansen earlier this year.
And the former Home and Away star has revealed that pregnancy wasn’t easy for her.
“Honestly, I actually surprised myself,” she shared Confidential on Nova radio on Sunday, discussing what parenting has been like for her since the baby arrived.
“I found pregnancy really hard and I thought maybe that would be a reflection on what’s going to happen, but to be honest I’m actually a little more relaxed than I thought.”
The 34-year-old added that her newborn was “frankly fantastic” and that she was enjoying new motherhood.

“He’s really a dream baby, he’s so happy, he’s so relaxed, he smiles all the time and thinks I’m the best person in life,” she said.
“He loves my performances, I perform for him all the time and he loves it.”
It comes after the former Bachelorette star revealed that her wedding to fiancé Jordie is being called off for the time being.
The couple, who welcomed their first child in March, revealed on The morning show in July that they haven’t had the money to get married.
“Honestly, I’m the one putting the brakes on,” Sam told the presenters.
“I found pregnancy really hard and I thought maybe that would reflect what’s going to happen, but to be honest I’m actually a little more relaxed than I thought,” she said.
“He’s really a dream baby, he’s so happy, he’s so relaxed, he smiles all the time and thinks I’m the best person in life,” she said of her newborn.
‘It’s just so expensive! It’s hard to justify spending so much money because we want to buy a house and now we have a baby.’
She went on to explain that the couple will get married eventually, but they are in no rush at the moment.
‘We will eventually, but I think it’s time. Our focus right now is little Teddy,” she said.
The actress and Jordie welcomed their son Ted on March 7 this year.
