Home and Away star Lynne McGranger announces shocking new role after ‘dramatically’ teasing from show

But Lynne McGranger has now announced a major new role that she will take on alongside the Cancer Council.

“Participation in the screening tests for colon cancer is very low, around 40 percent, which is pretty awful,” Lynne said. 7Life.
“But honestly, the test takes two minutes…” do it, it’s easy to do, it’s hygienic and it can save your life.’

She said she felt “blessed” that her first showing last year was completely clear.
Lynne also admitted that she didn’t take her health seriously until her father passed away in 2005.
“I quit smoking, and that was a big one for me, a really big one. At that point I started getting fitter and healthier and now I exercise three to four days a week,” she said.
It comes after veteran star Lynne recently revealed how she plans to leave Home and Away.
The actress has detailed how she would like to get out of the soap – and she hopes to do so with a bang.

While she has stolen the hearts of the nation with her portrayal of the mother figure, Lynne wants her departure from the show to be dramatic.
“I want for the biggest bang, the most dramatic exit,” she told Stuff.co.nz in March.
“I want to get lost at sea, or I want to die a very sad, long death while everyone around me weeps and wails.
“Or Irene can get lost at sea and they’ll never find the body, have the memorial service and all, and then she’ll walk back to town.”
