Home and Away star Ada Nicodemou embarrasses her son so bad in ‘cringe’ video he’s forced to walk off camera
Ada Nicodemou left her son Johnas red-faced on Sunday when she tried to teach Gen Z slang in a ‘cringe’ video.
The 47-year-old Home and Away star posted a hilarious but hard-to-watch clip on Instagram in which she attempts to use words like gyatt, sigma, rizz and no cap.
In an attempt to use them in a sentence, the actress embarrassed her only 12-year-old child so much that he walked away from the camera and left the video altogether.
Ada was taken aback and quickly moved on when she learned that gyatt means “big ass.” She did, however, like the term rizz, which is short for charisma.
“So I have a lot on my plate?” said Ada when she heard what that meant, to which her son exclaimed, “No!”
“I’m going to put it in a sentence,” Ada continued. “I woke up today and I was so fit. And I just thought, I’m just going to smash the day on Home and Away!”
Johnas was so shocked by what his famous mother said that he got up and walked away from the camera.
Ada said she thought she had done “really well,” but Johnas sank face down to the floor and wouldn’t look at her.

The soap star shares Johnas with her ex-husband Chrys Xipolitas, to whom she was married for nine years.
They reportedly split briefly in 2010, but reconciled in August 2012 and had their child together.
Ada finally split from Chrys and dated businessman Adam Rigby for about eight years before they split in 2023.

She then began dating co-star James Stewart, following his split from Sarah Roberts in March this year.
The lovebirds from the TV series Home and Away first met in real life when they kissed on Anzac Day.
Ada finally put paid to their relationship in July when she confirmed she was in a relationship with her co-star James, 48. She described their romance as “unexpected.”
“Jimmy and I are together, yeah. It’s just started. It’s very recent and very unexpected. I’m super happy. It’s really beautiful,” she told Stellar Magazine.
