A Home and Away producer has warned fans to get the tissues at the ready for Monday night’s “heartbreaking” episode.
Speaking with Seven newsProducer Lucy Addario revealed that next week’s episodes will be “not to be missed” as an old fan favorite is likely to disappear.
“You simply can’t miss this week’s episodes and next Monday’s,” Lucy revealed.
“The community will unite in what will be a lifelong battle, ultimately ending in a death that will shake the Bay.”
Lucy added that fans are in for an emotional rollercoaster as a farewell of this magnitude won’t be happening in Summer Bay for a while.
“We haven’t seen a farewell like this in years,” Lucy said.
“All I can say is, make sure you have that box of tissues handy, because you’re going to need it.”

While Josh Hannan’s ballad The Girl I Love plays in the background, a banner reading ‘Who has days left to live’ appears on the screen.
The suspects are recidivist alcoholic Irene (Lynne McGranger), Harper (Jessica Redmayne), who is secretly pregnant with Tane’s (Ethan Browne) baby, Felicity, and Eden.
“You will not survive,” reads another banner, before we see an ambulance drive onto the road.

“This week’s episodes and the run-up to next Monday are simply unmissable,” Lucy revealed
“The music is blaring, the dance floor is pumping and the drinks are flowing under the hot Summer Bay sun. But this special celebration will soon be marred by tragedy. Who won’t make it home?” reads an official press release about the heartbreaking story.
Longtime Home and Away star Lynne McGranger recently revealed she is considering leaving the Bay after an impressive 31-year run.
In a candid interview with Stellar Magazine In May, the actress spoke openly about her hopes for the future.
“We haven’t seen a goodbye like this in years,” Lucy said. “All I can say is, make sure you have your tissue box handy, because you’re going to need it.”
“I’ve been thinking about it for a long time and it’s been in the back of my mind for a year or two,” Lynne said of leaving the show.
The actress revealed that no official date has been set for her departure, but that the idea of leaving Summer Bay has been a major consideration.
Lynne is currently focusing on a new project, The Grandparents Club, which she describes as a wonderful return to her theatre roots.
‘Sure, no date has been set yet [to leave]“But what I love about working for The Grandparents Club and being involved in this beautiful celebration is that it brings me back to my roots,” she said.
