Home and Away: Fan favorite Penny McNamee is spotted on set… while a new face with a high-stakes storyline arrives in Summer Bay
A Home and Away fan favorite is rumored to be returning to Summer Bay.
Penny McNamee, 40, whose last appearance as Tori in the long-running Aussie soap was two years ago, looks set to return.
The last time viewers caught a glimpse of Tori, she was starting a new chapter in London with her newlywed husband Christian and her daughter Grace.
However, just a few days ago, a fan shared a collection of photos in a Home and Away fan group, showing their meeting with some of the show’s cast members, including McNamee.
“We chatted with Tori/Penny who said her character had only been back for a few weeks, which is pretty cool! She is absolutely beautiful,” the fan wrote in their post.

While fans will be excited to see Penny’s return, a new cast member has promised viewers a gripping high-stakes storyline for his character.
Mystery Road: Origin star Tristan Gorey, 28, who plays Dr. Levi joined the show this week and Tristan said he will make a memorable entrance.
“Levi comes in during a high-stakes storyline. He fights to save the life of a central character,” he said Seven.

“Everyone comes to the kitchen to hang out and chat. It is our first port of call and usually the last where we all say goodbye.’
Earlier this year, it was reported that former Home and Away star Tammin Sursok said she would love to appear on the long-running soap again.
The 40-year-old actress, who played Dani Sutherland on the show from 2000 to 2004, said she would love to return for a cameo role.
The actor was living in Perth when he auditioned for the show and after being cast, he moved to Sydney to be closer to filming.
“I would have always said I would never have returned to Neighbors or any soap again, but I thought it was really cool and felt like nostalgia,” she said Yahoo lifestyle.
“(I’d come back) for a week, sure, why not?” she declared. “I would definitely give a nostalgic nod to Home and Away.”
However, fans may be disappointed to hear that Tammin is not looking for a permanent role.
“I would never do it long term just because the hours are so hard and I just wouldn’t spend time with my kids,” she added.
It’s been more than two decades since Tammin first appeared on Home and Away, but she revealed she’s still in touch with some of her former co-stars.
