Home Alone viewers are all baffled after only just realising who the police officer is

32 years after the first legendary Home Alone movie hit our screens and some fans barely even realize who the police officer is at first.

Sergeant Larry Balzak, who only appeared at the beginning of the movie, tried to get someone’s attention while the McCallister kids ran amok with no adults in sight.

The cop then managed to warn Kevin’s dad, Peter, that there are “a lot of break-ins during the holidays,” so he wants to make sure the family is taking the proper precautions.

He reprized his role as Harry Lime opposite Daniel Stern’s Marv Merchants for the second installment of the Home Alone franchise.

Despite other successful roles in films like Casino, My Cousin Vinny, Gone Fishin’ and Lethal Weapon 3 and 4, the actor stayed out of the spotlight after 1999, announcing his retirement from acting to focus on his music career. .

Pesci, now 79, came out of retirement to star in the 2019 film The Irishman, which earned him an Oscar nomination.
