However, fans were more in awe of the 28-year-old’s body transformation than the fact that he was training with some of the biggest names in MMA.
The hype surrounding Paul’s weight came after Volkanovski shared a photo of himself, Adesanya, Paul and Australian grappler Craig Jones on social media.
Volkanovski captioned the photo: “Good session in the books.” To which Paul replied, “Good session…yes, they killed me.”
WWE fans reacted quickly. Praising the 28-year-old’s size, they said he looked “jacked” while standing next to six-foot-tall Adesanya.

One fan wrote, “Remember when he called Paddy the Baddy. The guys a heavyweight’. Another added, “Logan has an insane physique, holy s***.”
Others commented on his weight, saying, “Damn, Logan probably weighs about 230 here.” While another fan tweeted, “He looks seriously jacked.”
One Twitter user wrote, “I think everyone thinks Logan is still just this ‘YouTuber kid’ but bros legit really!!”. While one fan quipped, “Can you imagine Logan trying to fight his weight in the UFC.”
Another UFC fan added: “I want to fight paddy the baddy”. This guy is a goliath trying to fight lightweights.’
Some fans accused Logan of taking steroids to get bigger. One fan wrote, “You can’t tell me Logan isn’t on steroids, look at his size.”
Another added, “Is Logan bringing anything?” I never knew it was built that way.’ One Twitter user wrote, “Logan is on absolutely all steroids.”
However, WWE has a strict wellness policy that prohibits the use of performance-enhancing drugs and stimulants. Therefore, athletes would be barred from performing if caught using such substances.
Athletes may be tested randomly or if there is reasonable suspicion. If so, the athletes undergo urine, blood, saliva or hair tests to check if there is anything in their system.
Paul was also filmed training alongside Adesanya. The 28-year-old didn’t look too out of place, but the UFC champion knocked him out with ease.
Paul has spoken before about fighting in the Octagon. He was linked to UFC legend Anderson Silva (who is 20 years his senior) in 2021.
Paul’s manager confirmed the pair were in talks about an MMA fight and claimed the YouTuber was excited to meet the UFC star. However, it never came to a fight.
Paul also stated that he would beat retired UFC star Michael Bisping and former champion Conor McGregor, but neither managed to fight.
