And now, single women are falling over themselves to nab the newly minted actor.
Ladies have been taking to the Wolverine star, who recently announced his split from wife Deborah-Lee Furness of 27 years, on social media and begging him to take him out on a date.
“Are we all commenting now because we know this good man is now technically available? I know I am! I’m convinced that getting into dms really works,” wrote one.
“I’ll let you take me out on a date now, Hugh,” another person said.

It comes amid rumors that Hugh is set to release a new tell-all memoir following his split from Deborah-Lee.
According to US WeeklyHugh is currently in the early stages of writing his bombshell book.
His new memoir will detail his life and “bombshell” revelations.
“Hugh decided to (write this book) now because he’s finally (been) honest with himself (and) the divorce,” the insider said.
“The content will be Hugh talking about his life.” He will open up about his life like never before.’
