Hollywood super agent Ari Emanuel tears into Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and calls for him to resign at Jewish

Entertainment and media agency CEO Ari Emanuel attacked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with claims of poor leadership following the October 7 Hamas attacks.

Emanuel’s company owns the UFC and WWE and has historically had quite an influence on the Hollywood elite.

He criticized the prime minister at the Simon Wiesenthal Center gala in Beverly Hills, where he was presented with the Jewish organization’s Humanitarian Award, its highest honor.

“This is a painful and crucial moment for all of us who are Jews and love Israel. This is not a time to remain silent,” Emanuel said Wednesday evening.

“Israel is not led by a problem solver, but by a problem creator. He is an agent of chaos and hatred, division and destruction. And enough is enough. Bibi Netanyahu is a failure.”

Emanuel’s speech received mixed support, with some of the audience clapping in approval while the others cheered in disapproval – some even going so far as to walk out of the Beverly Wilshire Hotel during his speech.

The audience was star-studded, including Larry David, Robert Kraft, Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.”

The CEO, whose family had ties to Israel, said Netanyahu “does not want a peaceful solution” to the conflict. “And it has become clear that reaching a political solution and keeping Netanyahu in power are incompatible paths.

“In terms of his responsibilities to protect the people of the State of Israel and Jews around the world, he has clearly failed spectacularly,” Emanuel said. “But he has done a fantastic job of using division to stay in power.”

Known for his influence and outspokenness, Hollywood power player Ari Emanuel took a strong stand against anti-Semitism two years ago.

After Kanye West, now known as Ye, made offensive comments, Emanuel urged companies to cut ties with the artist. This call to action resulted in major brands such as Adidas and the Gap ending their partnerships with Ye.

In 2006, Emanuel cracked down on Mel Gibson’s anti-Semitic outburst during a drunken arrest. He wrote a public letter advocating a Hollywood boycott of Gibson, stating that alcoholism “does not excuse racism and anti-Semitism.”

Years later, Emanuel accepted Gibson’s apology and even supported his comeback to the film industry.

While acknowledging the tragic civilian casualties in Gaza, Emanuel defended Israel’s actions. He emphasized that “Israel did not initiate the conflict. Hamas did that” and considered their response justified.

However, he did not shy away from the seriousness of the situation, saying: “The loss of even one innocent child is a tragedy.”

He also targeted the “from the river to the sea” slogan used by some pro-Palestinian groups, arguing that it implies the elimination of Israel, which he equated with “genocide.”
