The residents of Marford, North Wales, have been left speechless after a Hollywood A-lister snapped up a property in their sleepy village.
According to The sun the actor bagged a £1.5 million four-bedroom house for his growing family.
With one resident telling the publication, ‘The most famous person from Marford is Tim Vincent from Blue Peter, so being a Hollywood star is a step up!’.
And who is the newest member of the village?
None other than Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds, 46, alongside wife Blake Lively, 35, and their four children.

The actor bought the nearby Wrexham football club in 2020 together with It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia actor Rob McElhenney.
With a source saying: “Ryan is moving to Marford and that’s all the locals can talk about. His house is on the fanciest road.
“It may not be the Big Apple, but the red carpet will be rolled out when Ryan comes to town.”
Tim was born in Wrexham before making it big on British TV with Blue Peter and The Clothes Show.
He’s since jumped the pond and lives in LA where he hosts Access Hollywood and Phenomenon.
Last month Ryan and Blake posed for heartwarming family photos on the pitch in Wrexham – with James, eight, Betty, six and Inez, three, as well as their fourth baby who was born earlier this year.
The Hollywood A-list couple announced in February that they are now proud parents again, without disclosing the name or gender of the newest addition.
So their fans were delighted to see the family scene on the ground where Reynolds’ team played against York in the Vanarama National League.

Actress Blake was all smiles for the photos with her husband holding the little one, alongside their first three children.
Ryan gently held the baby in his arms before all five of them posed for a photo.
The kids proved to be Ryan’s lucky charm as his side beat rivals York City 3-0, securing three vital points to remain at the top of the table.
In August last year, Ryan revealed that his wife was not particularly happy when he told her he had bought the Welsh team.
In an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! he said, “I remember seeing Blake say, ‘I’ve got some bad news and I’ve got some really bad news. I slipped into someone’s DMs again. The really bad news is I might have bought half of it.’ of a fifth tier national football league in Wales.”‘
However, Blake has been caught cheering on Ryan’s club. In May last year, the pair saw Wrexham take on Bromley in the Buildbase FA Trophy Final at Wembley Stadium in London.
It has not been confirmed whether Blake has previously attended a game in the center of Wrexham, North Wales.

The pair bought the club back in 2020. They have since put Wrexham and the once-struggling club firmly back in the spotlight.
They reached the Wembley final in 2022, narrowly missing out on promotion after finishing second in the National League.
Wrexham played York City in a battle to secure their promotion back to the football league, with the Wales side currently sitting top of the table with 94 points, three ahead of Notts County in second place.
The club’s duo also aim to boost women’s football and recently announced that they will be attending Wrexham’s women’s team’s match against local rivals Connah’s Quay Nomads tomorrow.

The celebrity owners will be joined by more than 7,000 fans to attend the game after a record number of tickets have been sold.
McElhenney tweeted, “We sold 7,309 tix on Sunday for the @WrexhamAFCWomen.
“This shatters the record, but I would like to destroy it in the dust of history. I will be there and knowing how this city will turn out for each other I trust you will too. LET’S GO!!!!’
Reynolds wrote: ‘Let’s fill The Racecourse Ground and celebrate @WrexhamAFCWomen on their historic run. I can’t wait to see them in full flight.’
McElhenney and Reynolds fund Wrexham’s women’s football team to turn semi-professional after buying the club.
And they helped reach record audiences by selling tickets for just £1 each. The current record attendance in Wales is 5,175 for Cardiff City Women.
The pair who bought the Welsh club two years ago are expected to see the rise of the women’s team in their second series of their Welcome to Wrexham TV series.
They are also expected to discuss their fight to reverse the fate of the Welsh club.
A spokesman for Wrexham AFC said: “The decision to allow the players to become semi-professional is to give them the best chance of success and to help the club achieve its goal of having the best women’s team in the world in the shortest possible time. become Wales. , practically possible.’
