The Hollyoaks actress, mother to her 17-month-old son Forest, shared the news on the latest episode of her ITVBe show Drama Queens on Wednesday night, telling the camera: ‘So guys… guess what? I am pregnant.’

Jorgie and her fiancé Ollie Piotrowski, who welcomed Forest in December 2022, later added a sweet Instagram post to confirm the happy news.

On a previous episode of Drama Queens, Jorgie explained that while she was keen to think about having more children, her partner was hesitant because of what they’ve been through.

“When I talk about babies, I’m like, ‘yeah, let’s,'” she said in the previous episode.

“But Oliver, it’s a bit more preliminary topic because he obviously knows the past situations, what we’ve been through, and also the risks.

‘I was at great risk. I literally could have died, and the doctors told him that….”

‘Oh, I get sad because I think about him. Besides, I have no one else to talk to about it.”

In August 2021, the couple discovered during their 14-week scan that Jorgie had lost the quadruplets they conceived naturally and in February they learned of their second miscarriage six weeks into the pregnancy – on the day of their engagement party.

The former I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! participant explained that she has never met anyone in her situation.

But maybe now she’s “more upset” about her pregnancy loss because she’s grieving what she could have had.

On a previous episode of Drama Queens, Jorgie explained that while she was keen to think about having more children, her partner was hesitant because of what they’ve been through.

She said, “Because I didn’t experience anyone…I never met another quad mom, and I’m probably a little more upset now about losing them.

“While it made more sense at the time, but… it’s… when you think, ‘Ah, there could have been a football team.’

Jorgie started playing Theresa McQueen in Hollyoaks in 2008 and left the role in 2016, but returned in 2020 and has been on screen ever since.

She now appears in Drama Queens, in which actresses including Coronation Street, Ellie Leach and Brooke Vincent and Emmerdale’s Laura Norton and EastEnders legend Rita Simons navigate their daily lives with soap stardom.

Jorgie previously admitted that she felt ‘lucky’ that she could confide in friends and although she will never be above actually getting over what happened, she is aware that without the miscarriages she would have lost her son Forest wouldn’t get now.

‘If it hadn’t happened I wouldn’t be a mother to Forest. When he’s older, I’ll be sure to tell him about the miscarriages of our lost babies and how we made it out the other side.”

She said The mirror: ‘I felt very fortunate to be able to talk to friends who had a miscarriage and made it through the other side.

‘I don’t think I can ever distance myself from what happened. It’s about progression. When I talk about Forest, it’s important that I don’t ignore what happened.

The actress noted at the time that the miscarriage was the worst “pain” she had ever experienced.

But she plans to explain to Forest exactly what happened when he’s older.
