Hollyoaks SPOILER: Tony’s paranoia intensifies over a dark new mystery when the pub is vandalized

Tony Hutchinson’s paranoia will reach new heights in Hollyoaks next week when a mysterious vandal assaults The Dog.

In the next few scenes, Tony fears for his wife Diane’s safety as she prepares to travel to a women’s conference, after she was forced to fight for her life following a hostage siege with incel Eric Foster.

As the week begins, Diane (Alex Fletcher) tries to reassure Tony that he has nothing to worry about as she prepares to attend the women’s conference.

But their concern only grows when Beau delivers the startling news that their car has been broken into, and the bizarre circumstances leave them wondering if they’re just mindless criminals or something more sinister…

Later, Tony (Nick Pickard) panics because he can’t find Diane at the apartment before Jack sees that she is at the conference with Maxine.

That night, CCTV footage shows a hooded intruder inside The Dog moving furniture and vandalizing the pub, and the next morning Beau wakes up to discover the damage.

The crime leaves Tony more paranoid than ever, despite Diane returning safely from the conference.

Later, Beau (Jon-Paul Bell) discovers something in the security camera footage that hides the family and Detective Zoe.

Beginning to fear the worst and feeling unsafe in her own home, Diane, along with the children, goes to spend the night at Scott’s, leaving Tony and their son to guard the pub.

That night, Beau discovers a hooded figure in The Dog once again…and is shocked when he discovers his identity.

The family’s problems escalate further when they gather to hear Eric’s sentence for his crimes.

When Tony gets an unexpected call from Eric asking him to come visit him in prison, a concerned Diane thinks it’s time for her husband to seek professional help for the trauma his brother left behind.

Elsewhere this week, the news that Sharon has been offered a permanent position at Dee Valley hospital soon comes to a halt when Sally announces the surprising and shocking news that the McQueen house has been sold.

Mercedes is quick to come up with an illegal plan to save her home, but will it be shaped like a pear?

And the wedding planning is underway for James and Ste, and the lawyer decides he doesn’t want to wait another minute and tells Ste he wants to move the wedding up.

A loving Ste agrees, pointing out how cutting down on the big day will help raise the money needed to pay for Juliet’s private medical care.

That night James receives a tempting proposal from Eric who offers the lawyer any amount of money in exchange for his freedom… will Eric be able to escape before his loved ones think?

Hollyoaks airs Monday to Friday at 6:30pm on Channel 4 and the first few episodes at 7pm on E4.
