Hollyoaks’ Ruby O’Donnell pays tribute to her beloved grandmother on the day of her funeral

Hollyoaks’ Ruby O’Donnell took to Instagram on Thursday to pay tribute to her grandmother on the day of her funeral.

The 22-year-old actress, who plays Peri Lomax in the Channel 4 soap opera, shared a series of heartwarming snaps and said she would miss her late grandfather ‘forever’.

In one image, a baby Ruby is carried by her youthful-looking grandmother, before posing together at a recent event.

Later on her Instagram Stories, the grieving star also posted a photo with her family as they all dressed in black for the sad day.

She wrote: “Today was all about celebrating the beautiful life you created. I will miss you forever grandma xx.”

It comes after Hollyoaks’ Owen Warner has sparked real-life romance rumors with co-star Jemma Donavan.

The couple looked comfortable as they snuggled up for a selfie on a train, which Jemma later posted to her Instagram.

The actress, who is the daughter of Jason Donavan, joined the Channel 4 soap opera in January as ‘party girl’ and ‘social media sensation’ Rayne Royce.

Jemma, 23, who starred in the Australian soap opera Neighbors for three years, captioned the post: “Happy birthday to me x.”

On his own Instagram, Owen, who is also 23, captioned Jemma saying: “Happy birthday to this stunner.”
