Holly Willoughby’s fans left shocked as she trusts son Chester, eight, to cut her hair

Holly Willoughby’s fans were shocked when she trusted her young son to cut her hair in a scathing video she shared on Instagram on Sunday.

The presenter, 41, squealed: ‘Are you ready, Chester? You’re cutting my hair! Make it nice and direct ‘, in the clip, which claimed to generate criticism from his followers.

In his caption, he wrote: “Chester decided it was time… ✂️✂️✂️… When your 8 year old grabs the scissors…”

However, some eagle-eyed viewers noticed an adult’s hand in the footage, which they claimed belonged to a professional hairdresser.

One devotee wrote: ‘It seems that this will not end well! I’m just saying xx’, while another added: ‘You’re so brave!’

More chimed in with: ‘THE TRUST!!!! I’m not sure I would EVER give my kids scissors’ and ‘As a hairdresser, this is scaring me.’

But others argued, ‘as if there’s no professional hairdresser nearby’, and ‘you can see the nails of the other person, who I assume is your hairdresser… thank god!’

Holly also shares her son Harry, 13, and daughter Belle, 11, with her television producer husband, Daniel Baldwin.

It comes after Holly wowed in a sensational, figure-hugging gown as she shared behind-the-scenes images ahead of the launch of Dancing On Ice 2023 on January 15.

The TV personality beamed alongside her co-host Phillip Schofield as they posed for promotional photos in their stunning outfit.

She looked amazing in her strapless dress that had a sexy thigh slit.

The shimmering gown, by Monique Lhuillier, featured glittering embellishment, a corseted bodice, and a thigh-high slit, fitting Holly’s figure perfectly.

She paired the dress with a smoky makeup look and let her blonde locks fall elegantly to her shoulders.

Posting to her 8.1 million followers on Instagram, Holly captioned three photos with ‘coming soon’.

Holly’s This Morning co-host Phillip also looked dapper in a black suit and gray blazer.

The long-running ITV show returns on January 15, with stars including Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Michelle Heaton and Patsy Palmer.

The celebrity competitors were first seen in their glamorous ballroom outfits on Wednesday as they posed for promotional photos ahead of the series’ launch.

The eleven celebrities will embark on the ultimate challenge as they hit the ice each week, skating live in a bid to impress both the panel and home viewers.

And the stars seemed eager to get in on a stunning group photo as they prepared to battle it out for the trophy in January.

Mollie Gallagher, Ekin-Su, Michelle and Carly Stevenson looked amazing in sleek gray suits.

Patsy put on a leggy display in a metallic navy blue mini dress, while RuPaul’s Drag Race UK’s The Vivienne put on a glamorous display in a blue maxi dress.

Darren Harriott dazzled in a sequined shirt, while Joey Essex looked stylish in a black mesh top.

Meanwhile, Siva Kaneswaran, John Fashanu, Nile Wilson rocked stylish jackets and polo shirts.

Siva has been confirmed as the latest star to sign up for the new Dancing On Ice series, and the full star cast has been revealed.

The 33-year-old “Wanted” singer is the 11th celebrity competitor in the ITV figure skating competition which will air in January.

A TV source told The Sun: “He’s a great addition to the show – The Wanted still has a huge, loyal fan base.”

“After all the boys have come through this year with the loss of their bandmate Tom Parker, the fans will be looking forward to seeing him continue to the end in Tom’s memory.”
