Holly Willoughby works out in HEELS on This Morning as she is joined by Joel Dommett

Holly Willoughby wowed viewers as she completed a workout in heels on Wednesday’s episode of This Morning.

The 42-year-old host was joined by comedian and Masked Singer host Joel Dommett, who fills in for Phillip Schofield as he takes a break from the show while his brother appears in court.

Holly looked chic in a baby blue shell-necked polo shirt and tailored pants, while her platinum blonde hair shone in a loose wave.

But the trendy ensemble soon proved impractical when fitness influencer Shakira Akabusi gave the couple a few exercises to try.

Holly was not dissuaded from the task, however, as she willingly joined the activities, despite wearing stilettos.

The fitness instructor couldn’t help but be impressed by Holly’s determination and said, ‘And in heels! That’s extra impressive.

Shakira was demonstrating a ‘lazy guide to fitness’, describing easy exercises anyone can complete at home to build their strength.

Holly and Joel initially sat down to complete a “sitting threading” exercise, which involves raising your legs while passing a weighted object under them.

The TV personality couldn’t resist joking as they completed the exercise, saying: ‘To make it fun, you could do it with a bottle of wine and take sips in between!’

Holly started to wobble a bit as they stood up and began doing lunges on a yoga mat.

She said ‘oh good’ and breathed a sigh of relief when she was told she could sit back down, much to the amusement of Joel and Shakira.

So far this week, Phillip, 60, has been replaced by Alison Hammond, 48, with Joel taking the reins on Wednesday and Thursday.

He has been taking a break from the show while his brother Timothy appears in court.

Phillip is set to return to the show Monday morning as usual.
