Holly Willoughby prepares for Coronation festivities

Holly Willoughby led the stars to social media in anticipation of the coronation on Friday afternoon.

The star, 42, took to Instagram to share an image of a crown-shaped cake she made following a segment on Thursday’s This Morning in which chef Juliet Sear showed viewers how to make and decorate the ice cream treat.

Elsewhere, Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary enjoy a street party and Gemma Collins decorates her garden with King Charles masks and flags.

Holly revealed her plans for the day included eating cake with her kids, Chester, 13, Belle, 12, and Harry, eight, sipping bubbles and watching the festivities.

Other stars flooded social media with details about the big day and how they would be celebrating King Charles’s induction to the throne.

Holly looked radiant in an instant as she smiled for the camera as she waved the cake and revealed she spent all night and day making the treat.
