‘She’s a little too big for me’: Holly Willoughby is terrified when Phillip Schofield grabs hold of a giant ‘naughty’ snake that tries to escape on the couch and gets too close to his face

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield’s mettle was really tested on Tuesday morning’s episode of This Morning.

Snake keeper Susan Coleman, aka Snakey Sue, was invited on the show with three of her snakes to talk about how they are ideal stress busters.

Holly was the first to handle a snake named Molly, who was perhaps the most well-behaved of all her reptilian friends.

She was a little nervous at first, but said she had previously worked on a show about snakes that helped her overcome her fears.

As she put Molly on her lap, Holly said, “I think I’m okay with it, it won’t bite me will it?” Would you just put it on my lap?’

“They like your warmth, they hug you to get warm and I quite like that.”

After being very still, the snake suddenly started moving quite fast, leaving Holly terrified.

She said, “Okay, she’s on her way now.”

Susan said, “Do you want me to take her?”

And without hesitation, Holly quickly replied, “Yes, thank you.”

Looking into a basket that held the other two snakes, Phillip saw a rather squirming reptile trying to get out.

“What’s in there?” he asked.

“Oh, that’s Rose,” Susan replied.

Phillip clearly sensed the challenge and asked if he could hold Rose and Susan replied, “You can try.”

Now frightened, Holly instructs Phillip to sit on the other couch away from her.

“She’s very big… Oh okay!” Holly says as she goes further and further away.’

As Phillip helps Susan get Rose out of her bag, she begins to slide all over Phillip before trying to escape through the back of the sofa.

Rose pulls her back and gets a little too close to Phillip’s face.

“She’s a little big for me,” says Holly. “You’re just like Britney right now.”

As it goes even more towards Phillip’s face, Holly grimaces as she slides further back.
