He will be 42 years old on Friday.
But Holly Willoughby started the celebrations early when she went out partying with her This Morning crew on Thursday.
The presenter looked delighted to be surprised with champagne and cake in the closing moments of the show.
After Loose Women’s Charlene White wished Holly a happy birthday, Phillip Schofiled feigned surprise when he asked, ‘Oh my gosh, is it your birthday?’
Beaming, she added: “Thank God we saved a minute and a quarter [left on the show] for something up my sleeve’, as balloons descended from the ceiling and the This Morning crew emerged with glasses of champagne.

Juliet Sear then came out with a homemade cake as Holly exclaimed, “That’s got so much butter icing on it, which is what I love.”
As the entire team gathered to pass on their well wishes, Holly admitted, “I’m getting to that age now where I actually forget how old I am – 42 tomorrow.”
To which Phillip, 60, quipped: ‘Oh my heart bleeds for you!
‘Have a beautiful day and a great celebration. Happy Birthday handsome!’
While Holly didn’t reveal her birthday plans, she can stop showing off her signature party trick.
On Monday, the presenter fell to the ground after trying to get his leg up in the air and landing in the splits during the break.
He ended up collapsing to the ground after his knee gave out and he started laughing.
However, the cameras managed to capture it all, and Phillip delighted in showing the clip to viewers back home.

Holly and Phillip were talking about Alison Hammond’s star-studded birthday party the previous weekend, which Holly attended.
While telling Phillip about the gossip from the party, Holly said, “There was a performance that night where there was a dance troupe there and they did it, which I just found out is called the death drop.”
‘One leg comes up and then hits your ground on the splits. You may have tried to recreate it. I could have slipped.
She explained: ‘I doubled under the weight. My knee is gone. It was a pretty fancy fall, I didn’t show anything.
oops! While Holly didn’t reveal her birthday plans, it’s possible she’ll stop showing off her signature party trick after she fell to the floor on Monday when she tried to demonstrate it.
