However, Holly Willoughby came face to face with a very unusual guest during Wednesday’s episode of This Morning while spending time with Ham, the “mischievous duck in the UK.”

Joined by co-host Phillip Schofield, the 41-year-old presenter went into hysterics while chatting with Ham and his owner, Charlotte Taylor-Dugdale, in the studio.

Ham is a local feathered celebrity in Lancashire due to his cheeky antics, and the bird is often seen enjoying walks or car rides around town.

Four-year-old Indian Runner Duck turned out to be the perfect guest and sat calm and quiet until Holly offered him a cup of tea.

Having learned from her owner that Ham was a fan of a hot drink, Holly couldn’t resist offering him her cup.

After flapping his wings, Ham went over to grab a few drinks, but the messy drinker made a big mess on the carpet.

Phil was quick to jump up and remove the cup at this point, commenting, “We’re going to remove that because I don’t know how healthy it is for you to have a lot.”

Holly fared better with the farm animal than former co-host Emily Atack, who previously revealed she was “traumatised” after dropping a live lamb while hosting This Morning.

Actress and co-host John Barrowman filled in for Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford in 2018 when they interviewed a farmer and his flock about calving season, but things didn’t go as planned.

The set of This Morning is no stranger to animal mishaps, with Holly previously jumping on the couch and cowering behind Phillip when Ingrid Tarrant brought her pet pig George on the show.
