Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield have detailed the This Morning crew’s drunken Christmas party, revealing that not everyone on the team was feeling “right” the next morning.
The This Morning crew headed to James Blunt’s pub for a festive lunch on Tuesday, with several stars documenting the fun-filled event on social media.
However, things certainly picked up as the drinks were flowing when the presenter revealed on Wednesday’s show that a member of staff ended up on ‘Alice Beer’s utility room floor’.

Making a fresh appearance on the ITV show, Holly said: ‘Welcome to your Wednesday this morning’ and Phil added: ‘Another festive show for you today, and we actually feel good.
Holly then said, ‘Not everyone on the team is feeling well this morning, let me tell you!’
And while Phil suggested ‘I don’t know if we should name names’, Holly decided to do so, commenting ‘Ellie!’
“Who ended up on Alice Beer’s utility room floor, with Emma, our deputy editor,” Phil added.

Giving more insight into the party, Holly added: “The flag flew well and truly at the Christmas party yesterday!”
However, Phil was quick to defend the staff when he shared: “The team have worked incredibly hard and they deserved a little break.”
They went on to explain that they were at James’s pub when he crashed the party with Chris Evans and they all sang Christmas carols.

The show then played a clip of Chris and everyone singing Oh Come All Ye Faithful, and after saying his singing wasn’t that bad, Phil quipped, ‘it was a little bit later when the wheels came off!’
They then did a short interview with Chris, 56, after saying that they all had to get up early the next morning.
Chris said: ‘We had a great time. We had a great time!

‘You say we crashed the party, but it was Martin (Frizzell) who said to come and crash the party. He had tequila blinders on, he didn’t know someone was filming this!
Holly and Phil, Rochelle Humes, Dermot O’Leary, Gok Wan, Lisa Snowdon and Alison Hammond were among the presenters who drank champagne and danced the night away.
The group headed to James Blunt’s The Fox and Pheasant pub in Chelsea, where they enjoyed a festive meal before things got louder and livelier as the drinks flowed.

The party also took an unexpected turn in the middle of the night when radio host Chris Evans turned up and joined the stars to sing along with James.
The group sang O Come, All Ye Faithful while holding their drinks while Alison gave a stunning solo performance later that night.
Alison shared a compilation clip of her friends dancing through the night, writing in the caption, “Christmas lunch this morning is always an occasion not to be missed!”

Holly posed with This Moring editor Martin Frizell at the table and looked comfortable in a gray sweater and jeans as she held her wine.
