Holly Hagan has hit back at body-shaming trolls after a workout video she posted online sparked a fierce debate.
The Geordie Shore star, 31, who gave birth to a son, Alpha-Jax, with husband Jacob Blyth in June, is hard at work in the gym trying to lose her ‘pregnancy weight’.
But after sharing a candid workout session, Holly found herself getting snide comments about her postpartum figure, and in particular her non-surgical butt lift.
Holly took to her Instagram Stories and spoke out about the backlash, telling trolls she was “fully aware” of how she looked and asking followers “what do you want me to do?”
She began: ‘I think my video yesterday sparked some discussion. I’m not sure why people think it’s a big secret that I had surgery eight years ago? I literally talked about it so many times.

‘But I’m also not sure what people want me to do about it. Like I have a mirror. I am fully aware of how I look at the moment.
‘I know I look abnormal and horrible – don’t you think I see that every morning when I wake up?
“And then to put so much thought into it, it’s like what do you guys want me to do, should I just hide for the next nine months until I get this weight off?”
She continued: ‘The only reason my butt has gone this way is because I gained 50 pounds during pregnancy and I’m still 30 pounds heavier, so once I’ve lost that, it’s looking all right again.
‘But of course these are unfortunately the consequences of my actions. And to have people constantly pointing it out – is it like I have to start editing my photos? Because I know people will have something to say about that too.
“Or do I have to put a sign on my head every time I do an exercise video and say oh by the way, I had surgery eight years ago?” If you have eyes, I think it’s obvious it’s not a natural shape.
“I’m already very uncomfortable in the way I look right now, I’m already feeling pretty self-conscious, so is it necessary? I thought it would be funny to post that video and make people laugh a little bit.
It comes after Holly recently revealed she was forced to rush son Alpha-Jax to the doctor after discovering a worrying rash on his neck and face.

Welcome to the world! Holly gave birth to son Alpha-Jax in June with husband Jacob Blyth
The reality star recalled the terrifying incident in a candid Instagram Stories post last month before giving fans an update on the toddler’s health.
Holly cuddled her sleepy son in bed and said, “I woke up this morning, well, an hour ago, and came in and he called the doctors this morning and they brought him in right away.”
“So we took him down and told them everything and they looked at his rash because he has a little rash on his face and around his neck,”
She continued: ‘But apparently they’ve said it’s nothing to worry about and have prescribed Gaviscon for babies’.
According to the NHS, the drug is prescribed to newborns to help prevent gastric reflux, which causes trapped wind and can lead to rashes and discomfort.
Holly went on to say that some fans had warned her that the reflux suppressant medication could give the little one more problems and lead to constipation.
The new mom later shared an update, writing, “Have had hundreds of DM suggestions, thank you so much for taking the time to help!”.
‘What I gather from the posts is that what works for one person may not work for another and it’s just a case of trial and error, solving things one by one’.
“We’ve been on (baby food) Kendamill and have been giving him (colic drops) Infacol since week 1 and Infacol helps with trapped wind but doesn’t seem to help his digestion.”
“He cries and pushes the trapped wind the sound is totally different from what he’s doing now and he’s very regular with his poop and are you even a mom if you haven’t googled different types of baby poop to make sure it’s normal ‘.
She continued, “We’re back at the doctor next week so we’ll discuss changing his milk and possibly anti-reflux or comport.”
“He doesn’t have any milk allergy symptoms, you can usually tell by their poop, but I wouldn’t rule it out completely.”
Holly concluded: ‘Apart from that he’s the happiest baby and doesn’t make an effort, he rarely cries unless he’s super tired! We both get 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep with no shifts, so I’m thankful for that.”
Before adding: ‘Keep you posted if something works x’.
The star confirmed the news that she had given birth in an Instagram post shortly after giving birth in Greater Manchester.
Sharing a short post, she wrote: ‘Here’s here! We’re doing great. Tomorrow morning there will be a small hospital update on my blog.
A huge thank you to the incredible staff at Wythenshawe Hospital. I couldn’t have wished for a better birth experience. Just enjoy our little baby bubble.’
Holly announced she would welcome her first child in January, six months after marrying National League footballer Jacob in an Ibiza summer wedding.
Announcing the news in a video with OK! magazine, Holly told Jacob, “Your patience, strength and resilience inspire me every day and I couldn’t think of a strong role model for our future children.”
The video then cut to Jacob unwrapping a gift with a positive pregnancy test, prompting a shocked reaction from the footballer.
