Christmas star Jack Black, 53, sports a bushy gray beard and wears colorful shorts for a casual outing in Los Angeles.

The 53-year-old Kung Fu Panda actor sported a bushy gray beard for the outing, bundled up in a green puffer coat from Columbia.

Jack completed the look with a pair of colorful shorts and donned a pair of large pistachio green headphones.

Shading his eyes behind dark glasses, Jack pushed back his dark locks and pulled on comfortable walking boots.

Jack played Hollywood composer Miles Dumont in the Christmas classic, who falls in love with Kate Winslet’s English rose Iris after she switches houses with an American film producer played by Cameron Diaz.

But Kate, who played journalist Iris in the romantic comedy, said People: ‘I read something about it, but it’s the first time I’ve heard of it.

Writer-director Nancy Meyers also took to Instagram to debunk rumors of a sequel, writing: So many DMs about this, sorry but not true.

The original film, written and directed by Meyers, told the story of Surrey-based journalist Iris who changes homes with Amanda (Cameron), a Hollywood film producer, after their respective heartbreaks.

While in Surrey, Amanda finds romance with Iris’s book publisher brother, the widower Graham (Jude), while Iris meets and dates Miles (played by Jack).

The sequel to the heartwarming romantic comedy will track the lovebirds and see how they are doing 16 years after finding love.

A source had previously told him Sun: ‘The plan is to start filming next year. The top talents are all registered.

They added: “It’s one of the most successful movies of its kind and is still enjoyed every year by millions of fans around the world – it makes perfect sense to revisit those characters and find out what happened to their lives after they hooked up.”

When originally released, The Holiday received mixed reviews, with some critics calling it predictable. However, it earned over £160 million at the box office.
