Heather says her obsession started in 2015 when she bought a pack of Santa mugs.
Working her way up to buying an array of trees, garlands, ornaments, baubles and twinkling lights, the Christmas lover ended up needing an entire room to store them all.
And so she was able to keep them up all year round.
The Christmas lover calls the room her “place of peace and happiness,” where she goes every season to enjoy the Christmas festivities.
'I just love the Christmas atmosphere, with all the music and decorations.
'I may not be Santa's biggest fan, but I'm definitely one of them!
“My goal is for there to be so many decorations that you can't see the walls.”
She says her husband Daniel is a “clean freak” and gets irritated by all her purchases, but she has no plans to stop expanding her collection.

'Daniel's not a fan and he's happy it's in the basement so we can close the door and pretend it's not there, but he'll just have to deal with it.

Heather has also added vintage bottle brush trees and an elf collection to her shelves for this upcoming Christmas.
