Holey Moley has closed one of its Sydney franchises seven years after it first opened.
The mini golf course in Newtown, in the west of the city, first welcomed customers in 2017 but closed its doors on May 12.
There is now a rental sign on the site, while the cinema-style facade displaying the prices and details of the mini golf is now empty.
“As our lease ends, we would like to thank the wonderful Newtown community for their fantastic support and for completing literally hundreds of thousands of rounds of mini golf over the last seven years,” Holey Moley said in a statement.

It is unclear why the lease for the putt-putt venue was not continued, but a spokesperson for Holey Moley’s parent company Funlab said staff had been offered positions at other sites in Sydney.
The Newtown branch was one of the first Holey Moley locations to open.
It was on the busy stretch of King Street, but after the closure was made public, many Newtown residents said the site should return to what it once was: the Sandringham Hotel.
‘Thank God! Make sure it becomes a live music venue again!’ one commented on an Instagram video of the closing.
“I was there last year, the place was falling to pieces…” said another.
“Needs to be restored and reopened as The Sando,” one person wrote.
Holey Moley offers 18 holes of mini golf, private karaoke rooms and a bar.
It has approximately 30 locations across Australia, including in NSW, Victoria, South Australia, Canberra, Queensland and Western Australia.
