Hoda Kotb shocks Jenna Bush Hager with controversial hotel confession

Jenna Bush Hager was shocked to discover her cohost Hoda Kotb had sticky fingers – after admitting to stealing a common hotel item.

Today’s cohosts discussed a now-viral TikTok clip, which sparked the debate over whether or not the hotel robe should be free for guests to take.

The video showed Peloton instructor Jen Sherman getting ready in a hotel room with her friend, who was wearing a white hotel coat.

In the clip, the two women debated what there is to gain from visiting a hotel – with one woman insisting on bringing bathrobes – unless otherwise stated.

As she did her makeup, Jen repeated, “You just said there should be a sign that says, if you want to buy this robe, you can buy it here. If the sign isn’t anywhere in the room, do you believe you can take this home for free?’

Her friend agreed with her assessment of what can be gotten out of a hotel room – much to Jenna’s shock.

While the presenters unanimously agreed that you ‘shouldn’t take the bathrobe’ – with Hoda, 60, adding: ‘everybody knows that’ – the TV icon had her own confession around the change of linen in hotel rooms.

“I grabbed a washcloth,” she shared, much to Jenna’s shock, adding that it was on purpose.

‘Something was leaking. I don’t remember, but I wanted to wrap it up in something,” the longtime TV host explained.

“I had nothing,” she explained. “So [I thought] I’ll take the washcloth. Sorry.’

“Do you think you could bring a robe?” Jenna, 42, clarifies.

‘No. You can’t bring a bathrobe.’ she declared.

“But you can bring washcloths?” Jenna joked.

“If you need it,” Hoda replied, laughing.
