A bizarre foul-mouthed confrontation has broken out between a shocked onlooker and a man walking his pet alpaca on a leash down a suburban street.

In the amazing footage posted by X account Ozzie Man Reviews, a man is in Wearing an orange hi-vis shirt and sunglasses, you can see the brown woolly alpaca walking along a footpath in the Hobart suburb of Moonah.

“That’s a big dog buddy,” the man filming him noted.

But the compliment was not appreciated by the alpaca owner, sparking a heated argument that Ozzie Man Reviews described as the ‘most Australian interaction ever’.

“I’ll move that camera up, stop pointing it at my face,” the owner said.

“Excuse me, asshole,” the man filming replied.

“Oh f*** you,” the man says in high view as he walks past without him or the alpaca having to break stride.

“Go fuck yourself,” the man filming shouted back.

The comment made the alpaca owner even more excited.

“No buddy, go get some fucking brains,” he replied as he turned to confront his opponent.

“There’s a difference between a damn alpaca and a stupid bastard like you.”

‘That is indeed an alpaca.’

“Yes, you look like that,” the man with the camera fires back, having not appreciated the zoology lesson.

“Look at you!”

The alpaca owner led the animal away, but not without a final insult.

“Oh f*** away, you stupid f***!”

Ozzie Man Reviews replied to one of the comments that the images had been sent to him.

“I think I have at least 50 watches since the guy who shot him sent it to me,” he joked.

Many viewers found the confrontation funny.

“Brother, it’s hysterical. I can’t believe it’s real,” one X user wrote:

“I just had to send it to all my Australian friends.”

Another added: ‘This has devastated me. He was definitely not in the mood to make new friends,” said another.

Alpacas are native to South America and are related to larger llamas, along with camels.

They are bred for wool, but some are kept only as pets.

According to the Australian Alpaca Association, Tasmania is an ideal environment.

“Tasmania’s cool, temperate climate and green pastures are the perfect combination for producing eco-friendly, fine-coated alpacas,” the website says.

“The Tasmanian region has members spread across the state. We have a busy program with shows, farm days and workshops.’
