An HIV-positive pedophile who ran an online child abuse syndicate in South Australia could end up having babies trafficked for sex if he was not caught, a court has heard.
Jadd William Brooker was caught by the Joint Child Exploitation Task Force and pleaded guilty to 182 sexual abuse and exploitation offenses against children and adolescents in Australia and around the world.
Before he was arrested, the 41-year-old told his union that he wanted to infect children with HIV and even filmed himself trying to infect a child.
Brooker pursued 20 children, in person and online, for sex and was found to have 4.5 million images and 50,000 messages of child exploitation.

The High Court this week was told of Brooker’s lack of remorse and empathy for his victims.
The court was told Brooker was a deceitful, manipulative and dishonest pervert who had a grandiose view of himself.
Prosecutors asked for the ‘uncontrollable predator’ to be jailed indefinitely, following laws created by a campaign by victims’ advocates and advertiser.
Clinical director of South Australia’s Mental Health Medical Service, psychiatrist Narain Nambiar, told the court Brooker would re-offend.
He claimed conversations between Brooker and union members indicated they would go to extreme lengths to abuse children.
“Brooker demonstrates a particular attitude that supports sexual exploitation and abuse and encourages others to engage in that behavior,” Dr Nambiar said.
“In one conversation, he discussed sex trafficking and the sale of children … while there is no evidence that he did it, whether he was involved in it or not, he encouraged it.
“He possessed images of very young babies and toddlers with violent sexual acts being committed against them.”
Dr Nambiar’s evidence explained that Brooker had a ‘loving’ adult partner – who was uninvolved and unaware of his crimes.
He also had ‘many’ other adult sexual partners while abusing the children.
Dr Nambiar added that Brooker was also trying to infect his adult partners with HIV as he did not wear condoms, was inconsistent in taking his medication and lied to them and doctors about his health.
The psychiatrist labeled Brooker a ‘fraud’ claiming it was hard to believe he would actually engage in treatment and not re-offend.
Dr Nambiar said Brooker’s lack of empathy and remorse coupled with his dishonesty, manipulative nature and ‘grandiose’ view of himself demonstrated a ‘psychopathic personality’.
Brooker also bragged about trying to infect children with HIV and even filmed himself doing so to a child. A psychiatrist told the court that Brooker was ‘very likely’ to reoffend
Despite Brooker’s apology and willingness to rehabilitate, Dr Nambiar said he was ‘more likely’ to re-offend due to the ‘varied and prolific nature’ of his crimes.
He added that it was not known how far Brooker would have gone in his child abuse had he not been caught.
Dr Nambiar labeled Brooker’s apologies as ’empty words’ claiming it stemmed from his frustrations at being in prison and concerns for his family rather than the suffering of his victims.
Brooker will be sentenced by Judge Adam Kimber at a date yet to be set.
