Hitman’s next elusive target is Jean-Claude Van Damme

In “The Splitter,” as the new content is known, Van Damme plays Max Valliant, a former ICA agent who somehow avoided a previous assassination attempt several years earlier. Agent 47 will have to infiltrate the rainy streets and underground data facility of Chongqing, China while mentoring an ICA board member, investigating Valliant’s “sinister agenda” and ultimately putting the co-assassin down for good.

“Max Valliant is a pretty entertaining character, who brings a lot of action movie villain energy, he’s ruthless and of course he can do the split!” Van Damme said, referring to his own penchant for performing the splits in his films and stunts. “The Splitter is an exciting mission and like any good action movie, Hitman Players will be in for a few surprises, but I’ll let them find out for themselves.”

Like all elusive goals, The Splitter cannot be retried if it fails (restarts are always allowed, of course) and has a hard end date, this time January 12, 2025. Paid downloadable content offers endless retries in arcade mode and a new SMG, kukri- knife and cosmetics based on the mission. And finally, the new ‘Season of the Splitter’ roadmap will feature three missions developed by the Hitman community, new featured contracts, and the return of elusive goals from the past.
