Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB), the bottling arm of Coca-Cola in India, has announced an investment of Rs 350 crore in Madhya Pradesh to set up two production lines at its Rajgarh plant.

The announcement, made at the regional industry conclave in Ujjain, takes HCCB’s total investment in the state to over Rs 660 crore, according to a statement.

“The fresh capital infusion will lead to the introduction of two new state-of-the-art production lines at HCCB’s Rajgarh plant, which will produce affordable Small Sparkling Packs (ASSP) and Juice Tetra Packs,” the statement said.

The expansion will not only increase the production capabilities of HCCB but also contribute significantly to the state’s economy, it added.

The Government of Madhya Pradesh has assured support to facilitate HCCB in obtaining all necessary clearances, approvals and approvals in a time-bound manner.

HCCB has already invested over Rs 311 crore in Madhya Pradesh at its Rajgarh plant since 2000.

The company operates 13 factories across India, where it produces and sells 37 different products across 8 categories, including beverages such as Coca-Cola, Thums Up, Minute Maid, Kinley and Limca.
