Hilary Duff’s husband Matthew Koma makes a cheeky joke about ‘living in the eye of Hurricane Hilary’ during a tropical storm – while the star has a hilarious reaction
Matthew Koma, Hilary Duff’s husband, recently made a cheeky joke about his wife during Tropical Storm Hilary – with the actress wowing fans with her hilarious response.
Koma, 36, shared a fun TikTok video that showed the star reflecting on Hurricane Hilary (which was later downgraded to a tropical storm) hitting Southern California — to the detriment of his wife.
Filmed in their kitchen, Koma joked, “I’ve been living in the eye of Hurricane Hilary for a while now, and I just wanted to jump over here and show you what it’s like.”
The camera then panned to an unimpressed Hilary keeping a serious eye on her husband.
Ahead of her husband’s prank, the star took to her Instagram story to comment on fans referring to her 2003 single, Come Clean, in which she sings “let the rain fall down.”
She said, “I’ve been getting so many texts, it’s like it’s my birthday,” she wrote alongside a meme that included a screenshot of her Come Clean music video. “Couldn’t they have gone with two Ls?”

Remnants of Hilary were expected to cause heavy rains in Nevada and Utah and in the Northwest, where more than 4 million people remained under threat of flooding through Monday evening, the agency said.
Forecasters issued a flash flood warning for an area just northwest of Las Vegas through Monday afternoon, saying there was potential for life-threatening runoff along rivers and streams.

“Fortunately, Californians listened to their local officials and took the necessary preparedness actions to help protect themselves and their families,” FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell told reporters aboard Air Force One.
